According to Mehrab News Agency, Muhammad Javad Haaj Ali Akbari, the president of the center of supervision on mosques affairs has pointed to the Gaza current issues emphasizing the unitive principles of Islam.
According to him: ‘’ we are proud to present the message of friendship of the Imams and worshipers of the mosques of the Islamic Republic of Iran to all respectful active Muslims brothers of your country reminding the unitive principles of the united followers means the holy Quran, tradition and behavior of the grand prophet of Islam (peace be upon to him) ‘’
He continues: ‘’ according to the suggestion of the Islamic Republic of Iran and approval of the foreign ministers of ICO, 21 august, 1969 coincide with the memorial day of conflagration of Aqsa Mosque is nominated as the Global Day of Mosques. Although, attempts to inflame the first kiblah of Muslims has been going on till now in various models and danger is remained yet’’
The president of the center of supervision on mosques affairs writes in this message: ‘’ but the most serious international reaction to this debate has been issue of declaration no. 271 in 15 September, 1969 to condemn this bitter incident and then no serious determination and unanimity has been seen among the Islamic countries due to united challenge impertinency of Zionists in the shade of dividing the Muslims society. That’s why we are witness to massacre of defenseless Muslims of Gaza and destruction of two hundred mosques in this land’’
He finishes his words to the ambassadors of the Islamic countries by this words: ‘’ there were eleven summits held in the Islamic Republic of Iran during the last years with the presence of many respectful Imams to keep the philosophy of consensus culture of the Islamic countries in ratification of the Global Day of Mosques alive. The twelfth summit is coming in which the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Rouhani will orate’’
